Europe Advance will hold its third Church Planting Roundtables (CPR) in the Gothenburg area of Sweden on 3-4 June. A CPR is introductory training for people who are interested in becoming church planters in Europe. The Europe Advance CPR will provide basic information on church planting in Europe.

Europe Advance is a new church planting network for Europe modeled after the Association of Related Churches (ARC). ARC is a dynamic church planting network in the US. Since 2002 ARC that has planted over 150 churches. Some of these churches are now among the largest and fastest growing churches in America.


The CPR will begin at noon with lunch on Thursday, 3 June. It will end after lunch on Friday, 4 June. A group dinner will be provided on Thursday evening. It will be held in Stenungsund, Sweden, which is located about 60 km north of Gothenburg. 

A Church Planters Roundtable is focused on those who are interested in becoming church planters in Europe. Spouses are encouraged to attend. If you are considering planting a church in the future, we would like to consider having your sponsoring church's pastor attend also.  This will help them fully understand the Europe Advance program and your church planting vision.

The sessions will be led by Matt Fry, planter and pastor of C3 Church in Clayton, North Carolina. Matt is also on the leadership team of the Association of Related Churches in the U.S. Besides Matt, the members of the Europe Advance leadership team will be involved in the training. If your schedule permits, you are also invited to attend the host church on Sunday, Kristet Center Väst .

Discussion Topics

The CPR will cover topics that potential church planters will be interested in, such as:

• What church location is best?
• How do I meet people?
• Where is the best venue to get started in?
• How much money do I need and how do I finance my church plant?
• Where do I get the information that I need...where can I get the wisdom to do what I need to do?
• How do I get small groups started?
• Leadership lessons for church planters (building teams, communication, etc.)
• Natural Church Development will be presented as a way to measure the "life-giving" principles we all embrace.
• Thought provoking discussions with a Question & Answer period.
• Plus many other subjects...

Registration

The cost for both days is 100 Euros or 975 Swedish Kronor per person. Spouses of potential church planters attend free. The fee includes all training materials and the meals mentioned above. Your registration will be finalized and a confirmation sent to you upon receipt of your fee payment.

Please know that these hotels fill up quickly, especially because the CPR is held at the beginning of the vacation season. These are the only hotels in Stenungsund.
